I need to know if it would work in the philippines? And would she be able to activate it?

Maybe. I know this works between the U.S. & Canada. Check with your local phone service provider; they should have a definitive answer.

I would say no. When I brought a prepaid cell with me to Korea it didn't work it had a different network to connect to to and It never found service. Same when I came back to the states with a phone I brought there it didn't work here.

It would depend on if she can use the access number the Philippines.

activate where you may have bought the cell...that would work....
