validation in ms access 2003?

Question

i got design saying validation is LNLLN. in which of the following do i type it in?

format
inputmask
caption
validation rule
or is it something else?
the text type is text.

because i tried all of them and in the end, this database lets me to type in anything i want!

Validation rule. But you should ask the person who gave you the assignment what the LNLLN means before you type it in, so you can translate it to the computer code. Also, using the "Vlaidation TEXT" field (right below the validation rule) will allow you to give the user an error message if they don't enter the data in the correct format.
