i think being a new agent of MI6 he is still not getting the big picture, as a rookie he tries to get a small fry not even a fish, with the bomb maker, then the middleman in the ocean club who died in miami airport, then the frontman le chiffre, the real big fish is still out there,, its like he is not actually investigating but clearing everyone out... killing all of them to rule out who is the main man, and i think thats not how a stealthy suave british agent works
in this movie, he is the only Bond i see that is always beaten up, bloodied all over. i think Bond should always be polished and a smooth operator.. and uses his gun and gadgets more because he is an agent and not a street thug. he also looks dirty as a Bond.

this is bonds first mission he won't be going after a super terrorist. he's always beaten up because this is more like the books. in the books bond would often get the crapped kicked out of him.

They have tried to change his image and the new Bond is not as cool as the old one. Give me back Sean or Pierce. They are the cool ones.

I mean, Jackie Robinson did not do too well at his first game as a Brooklyn Dodger, but he got better as he got more confident

its because he just earned his 007 status & he is learining this is the first time he gets out to do things ..they want to show him that yes he makes mistakes. & I think its great that he gets a few punches thrown at him cause in real life that is what happens......
this movie is not a fantasy movie... & that is why I loved this one
