Why don't you go to a well recommended Dermatologist and see if they can help reduce the apperance of your acne scars. I worked in a Derm office and we had a laser called a Fraxel. One of our patients had "golf ball" pitting on his skin from really bad acne. He was very quiet and would not make eye contact when he came in. He had a total of 4 Fraxel treatments, 6 weeks apart, and to be totally honest, he was a new guy! His skin cleared up about 80%, he would smile and practically talk our ear off. He said he lived with the scars most of his teen and early adult life and thought nothing could ever be done. He was going home for the holiday and had not told his family what he had done, he wanted to surprise them. He certainly will! So....please seek the advice from a Dermatologist before giving up. There really is a lot of help out there. Good Luck, and I'm sure the right girl will like you for who you are.

I'm glad to hear its clearing up! Thats a positive point, right? I'm no doctor but I am fairly confident that there is some way to either remove or help cover the scars.
Lets face it...looks are not everything. People's looks change with age....people lose/gain weight, get zits/pop zits, etc, etc. That doesn't make you who YOU are. Its all about confidence. By the sounds of your question you seem intelligent...whats hotter than that????

I had acne (the first time) at age 19! I was a sorority girl, I partied, and I wanted to stick my head in the oven. Children would randomly point and say "Mommy, what's wrong with her face?". People asked me if I had the chicken pox. I was miserable.
I took ACCUTANE. Ask your Dr. about it. It will help smooth out your face and you will have more confidence. Just remember, you are your own worst critic. However other people see you, you will see your own flaws magnified 1000 times.
If you are more confident, you will, by definition, seem more confident.
Mid 30's and guess who got acne again? Me. Now I'm on tetracycline, and anyone who asks what is wrong with my face can kiss my smooth, blemish-free ***.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
