If so, why?

And, if you believe that to be the case, what is your position regarding clean air?

As is stated in the constitution; the government is to provide a strong military...That's it!!

Clean air has been declared a winner.. has been greatly improved in the past few years..

If the government owes us anything Eddie, it's an alternative to being permanently attached to the fossil fuel teat. I find it hard to believe that fuel cell technology has not received the attention it deserves. Small, cottage industry entrepreneurs should be encouraged to take this technology forward by using tax relief methods, etc. What they do owe us is an open attitude about insuring a future for our grandkids by exploring new methods of transport and energy sources.

Re:Clean air. We best get off the dime and get moving damn fast, nothing lasts forever. The oceans are hurting badly (main food source) and the air we breathe is fouling more and more daily...time's a wasting man.

Our government technically doesn't owe us anything under the provisions of the Constitution. Additionally, things like price caps on oil are bad for the market, anybody with any sort of economic knowledge will be able to tell you this.
