Do you mean World Premiere Toons? i miss that stuff
the show that brought Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab etc.
They also premiered the show "The Life of Larry (1995)" was very good, too bad they didn't get their own show back then but pretty much some of the character are similar to the creator (Seth MacFarlane) hit series. Family Guy and American Dad.
Our cartoon network is duped and made it more like a 8 year-old nickelodeon channel i stopped watching for like 6 years now. So i don't really know whats going on at the real Cartoon Network (though i like their new Logo very much). Hope they'll bring back the world premiere toons.

BOOM (if you have that service?) has old cartoons. We watch the Smurfs and the Pink Panther all the time!
But you should really give things like; "Camp Lazlo" and The Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy and even Fosters home for imaginary friends a try... They can be rather hysterical!
I mean what's funnier than an Indian Elephant with an Indian accent? or an imaginary Friends foster home where children's drawings come to life and get left behind when the child grows up or decides they want a new one? They have one that is a bird, with palm fronds for hair and it lays eggs with stuff in them!
and Billy and Mandy is just fantastic!
"Geniuses there are, of which I is one of am." Billy
