That is a great idea. These are just some questions which may or may not help your argument. - people's obsession with living vicariously through celebrities. - look at history and how the idea of celebrity began and has changed over time. - Ask is it creating a society where everyone is going to be similar, striving towards being the thing and feeling bad if they are not? i.e. commercial blonde sex kitten like (name one of the thousands Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Pink, Jessica Simpson, Little Kim, Reese Witherspoon etc etc) - Has it put monetary values on everything in life? celebrity relationships, eating patterns, clothing styles, sex etc these can all be sold or bought for a price. -is it creating a greater division in society wealthy people v poor? They are constantly being shown what they can not have and a life they can not have? Yet everyone is told to strive to be a celebrity (it is possible through MySpace, Facebook, American Idol etc)? Is this replacing the old fashioned ideas of hard work it is not now just be loud and outrageous, get a good publicist? - celebrities manipulate the media to create and feed their celebrity persona's. i.e Robbie Williams, Paris Hilton etc. Look at the techniques they use, how the media works with them to keep them alive so they can earn money. - Is it creating immoral idols? i.e. Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan spent three days in jail for something a normal person would get locked away for years for. again rich people can get away with more. I'm not sure if this is any help!! Good luck anyway!

My idea of a happy life would be that whenever I am given an assignment at school, I could just click my fingers, ask a question on Yahoo answers, and some silly bugger would complete it for me.
