The quarter horse, because the first horse i ever rode was a quarter horse and that little thing taught me all i know, they are reliable, they will give there heart to you and they live to please you. no matter what you do to them, all they want to do is please you and they want you affeciton consatntly. you can buy a QH just about anywhere. but the best place to buy one would be the AQHA adoption program you can find all the imformation on the AQHA website. but this is the best breed of horse you can buy. you can do anything with them i ride one now that can jump a 3foot 3 inch jump and clear it and then go in another ring 5 mins later and cut a cow like you wouldn't belive. and she also do dressage, cross coutry, reining, eventing, pole bending, so you can do just about anything with these horses.

You need to be asking yourself, what is the best breed of horse for me. What type of riding do you want to do etc...then maybe we can help pinpoint a suitable breed.

It depends what you want to use them for...
The American Quarter Horse is the most versatile...Can be found anywhere in the US. Even QH's are bred for specific functions, so in order to get your ideal horse you need to know what purpose you want that horse for.

Miniature horses of any breed...they eat less, can come inside and you can take them for walks.
