The reaction Ag+ + e- would turn into Ag metal. Although I cant write the reation here, umm... there it was. lol sorry
Ok, the voltage produced from that reaction is around 0.8 V. The positive voltage reading shows that the reaction favors the production of Ag metal atoms from the Ag+ ions.
On the flip side, Cu+ + e- would turn into Cu metal. The Voltage is around 0.3 V, showing that Cu+ has less of a tendency to pick up an electron than Ag+. Therefore, more Cu would stay oxidized compared to Ag. That being said, Copper is more reactive.
