I haven't heard anything about it. I have never watched CBS since she went on the evening news. Not everyone thinks Katie Couric is all that OR a bag of chips!

Katie Couric was so great on the Today Show. She was funny and quirky but serious when it was the right thing to do. She and Matt Lauer were a great team. She also has done so much good making the public aware of colon cancer and how curable it is. Evening news is not the best place for her qualities and talents.

She hasn't been fired, but will probably be "re-assigned" somewhere else at CBS. She'll keep her multi-million dollar contract too.

I don't think so. I had the misfortune of seeing her briefly last night on CBS just before I changed the channel to FOX.
