Copper reacts with carbon dioxide in the presence of moisture to form copper carbonate, which is green. More precisely this is a cupric carbonate/cupric hydroxide complex: CuCO3/Cu(OH)2. Likely some cuprous carbonate is also present Cu2CO3.
