STEP 1: Saturate the ink stain with hair spray. STEP 2: Allow the stain to fully dry. STEP 3: Mix a solution of one part water to one part white vinegar. STEP 4: Pour the solution on the stain. STEP 5: Brush the area lightly with a medium-bristle brush, preferably a toothbrush. STEP 6: Continue brushing until the stain is gone. STEP 7: Blot the area with a dry, white cloth. STEP 8: Flood the area with water. STEP 9: Blot again. STEP 10: Allow to dry.

You're gonna think I'm nuts but the best carpet cleaner I've ever used is Windex. Yes, Windex. I got Mahogany wood stain off an ivory carpet with it. Not just a little of the stain spilled it was more like 1/3 the can! It didn't change the color of the carpet at all. Just saturate the area with the Windex and blot it up with paper towels. Lotsa paper towels. When it's dry I use a bristle hair brush to gently fluff it back up. Hope this helps =D

Try rubbing alcohol.

Soak up as much as you can, keep it wet! Lots and lots of of paper towel. Try not to let it spread.
