I am a very tall person living in a world full of tiny people so I can relate with how Yao feels.
He is currently and clearly the best center in the league right now. He has a very good stroke with the ball so he is virtually unguardable once he gets the ball with his back to the basket within 10 feet of the rim. The only way people can guard him is to force him off the block before he gets the ball.
I am tired of people dogging Yao and saying that the only reason he is good is because he is 7'6''. All they need to do is compare his stats and impact to other 7'6'' NBA players like Sean Bradley, Manute Bol etc. The difference is clear.
Plus, we all know the NBA refs favor shorter players when making calls. Whenever a shooting guard or small forward goes for a dunk against a bigger guy, any incidental body contact usually initiated by the dunker is called a blocking foul, on the other hand, if a center goes for a dunk over a smaller guy, the contact is usually intepreted as a charge. Go figure!! I call it Vertically Challenged induced HATING!!! :D

No, last year was, but Houston was so awful that no one paid him any attention. Then to top it all of, he got injured and had to sit out a lot. Also, T-Mac is playing now, with T-Mac on the floor and those shooter they picked up in the off-season, it's a lot more dangerous to double-team Yao, and one-on-one he can score on anybody in the NBA in the post.
As far as getting dunked on all of the time, it happens to all big men. First of all they spend 80% of the game under the basket trying to block shot and defend the drive. Reguardless of height, it is very difficult to block a shot when someone is running at you full speed and you have to react at the last minute and rotate over. To make it worst, these are world class atheletes.

This is season #5 for Yao and I believe that yes this is his breakout year. He is playing amazing, finally has gotten aggressive and more physical down low! His PPG has gone up each year he has been in the NBA too and it's looking mighty fine right now.

I think so. He's been dominating so far this year, teams are paying closer attention to him than they were. He definatly got the better of that Houston Miami game than Shaquille O'Neal. He's the best center in the NBA right now and those 25 pts and 12 rebounds back me up.

Probably but, you know what I love about Yao? I love watching him get dunk on!!! He's so tall and gets dunked on by almost everyone. He recently got dunked on by Caron Butler from the Wizards.

Looks like it!
We've been waiting for that big man to get aggressive, it's going to be a good year for him and a lot of fun for us.
