Actually ANYBODY rather than that blond guy!Haven't met anyone who liked this new Bond movie and if they don't wake up soon, they're gonna kill this great spy nove/franchise.
Hugh Jackman would be perfect, screw the being British requirement. For me anyone who can portray an action adrenaline-driven,dark but righteous, lonewolf mutant can play pull off a suave, dashing, secret agent blindfolded!

Doesn't have to be British to be bond! For a start, it's rare to find a Bond who was an Englishman, which is what Bond is meant to be:
Sean Connery - Scottish, (Still British though)
Timothy Daltan - Welsh (still British though)
Roger Moore - English...
Pierce Brosnan - Irish (not British)
...and the best one ... George Lazenby...hailing from Australia.
From that, Jackman certainly wouldn't have a disadvantage seeing as we've had an aussie Bond before, but because Jackman is a bigger star than the previous Bonds were in their pre-Bond days, I don't think he would be the right man. Too many fans will see Wolverine.
Craig on the other hand didn't have all that many starring roles in big films. Although Layer Cake was a good film, it certainly wasn't global like the X-Men Triology.
With that in mind, no. Hugh Jackman cannot be the next James Bond.

Well, on the contrary he can always act as a British even though he's not...(he's done that already) so being a British is not exactly a important criteria....
I don't think it's a bad idea, but however, i feel that Hugh might not be too suited in the role...We have always known Hugh as a rough-tough jeans wearing dude...and to see him in a tux charming in a ballroom might be too much to follow....
Lets leave it to Daniel Craig 4 now....

I wish! But it can never happen. It's to do with the fact that Bond is a British character, & well, as in the case of Harry Potter, they are ONLY going to take bloody Britishers.
The only British character to be played by a non-Britisher is Bridget Jones, to my knowledge.

i think of if a desirable Circle might reunite to do it, it would be a good extra healthful. They style of have a sluggish romantic experience to their songs besides, so tie the Bond topic into that and that i think of you have the flexibility for a great unique Bond music. edit: oh i didnt think of roughly mike patton...that could desire to be somewhat good! you recognize possibly even the Deftones could desire to do a sturdy activity incredibly by employing an orchestra to make the music dramatic.
