My daughter LOVED to stick her feet and hands under my ribs. My doctor showed me how to gently stretch my body upward and massage the area where she was under my ribs. It helped somewhat. The idea behind it is when you stretch your body upward (or lay on your side and stretch) it makes more room for baby and the massage gets baby to move around a bit and change positions.
Just be sure to be GENTLE..

Sometimes you can change your position and they will move, but usually that's where the baby wants to be. I spent the last 6 weeks of my first pregnancy with my daughter pushing my rib cage forward! Just relax, it will be over soon, and I swear you will probably miss it! Good luck!

if you can work out what he/she is poking there ( mine tend to be feet ) you can sometimes lay down and rub the foot or leg and it may move, i used to be able to give the foot a gentle nudge and it would release it.................only for it to be back there 5mins later
i found it got easier once the baby dropped back into the pelvis coz mine didn't reach up as high as the ribs anymore .i just got the odd kick there instead of a stuck body part!!!
good luck x x x x

gently put pressure on the area with your hand and try to push it out of the way. Thats what I did and it worked sometimes. Its really sore!!! Also if you want the baby to move, drink iced water. That will def shift it!!
