Excuse me, but not all men like watching footy, i would prefer to read a good book. or come to think of it virtually anything other than watch those overpaid drama queens.

1. Not all men enjoy watching footy or rugby, some like watching cricket and snooker.
2. Its gives us something to do while you're making the dinner. (I don't really mean this, I love cooking food, I just prefer watchin footy)
3. It gives us something to watch instead of Coronation Street and Eastenders.
4. It gives us summat to talk/argue about when we get together, instead of how big her... I mean its a great ice-breaker for makin new friends.
5. Woman aren't as good at is as men are at a professional level, or we would watch that as well.

It's called entertainment. What don't you get about athletes. It's no different to watching a balerina on a stage, or a track and field athlete throw a javelin - and there are plenty of women who watch that.
Most men might ask the same question about soap operas and the like.

because if we didn't,TV companies would probably start showing women's football.
This is typically watched by juvenile screaming kids who create an awful atmosphere and reduces the spectical to one even less watchable than first imagined.
Us men would be driven to alcohol as a net result.
It's best if our choices are respected rather than questioned.
Imagine me asking why is it women can talk relentlessly on the telephone to someone they have just seen them in the street? What's wrong with you???

If it was all about 'chasing' a ball around a field I wudnt bother watching it. You have to understand the art of football to like it it's more complex than you think it is.

soccer is the most beautiful game in the world to watch so i cant imagine life without it. if you dont like watching it then leave us who enjoy it to enjoy ourselves in peace! who is with me?
