my mac is os 9..it is a g4..i just put additional memory on and downloaded mac X...so it is still the old internet explorer that works only a little..when i go to yahoo, there is a part that says optimize internet with firefox..so i click there and it takes me to mozilla page that boasts about firefox 2..i see noplace on this page to download except maybe the bottom where you choose the language, (english) and theer is a box that says go..i click on that and the page basically refreshes, that's it..i clicked on something at the top that took me to another page where i did see a line, -download now-..i clicked on that and again, the page refreshes..
i can't even use that computer now to use this site, it is basically internet useless..

when i talked with apple on the phone, they told me mac X would be good enough. so i have found the download page and when i try, i see it download in the download manager, 17.5mb..when it says download complete, i try to click on it and it says "internet explorer doesn't know how to handle the type of file you selected..choose to save or configure"....at the time i'm typing this, i am at a different computer miles away because the mac won't allow me to use yahoo answers...
