yes just hand feed them they will accept the food let them get used to you a mouse is normaly a bit timid at first but once you gain it's trust man you get a wonderfull pet your will find your mice love grains such as rolled oats barley cracked corn
just take your time with them you'll have them eating outa your hands in no time but in the mean time keep food in the cage for them you dont want them getting hungery

It's possible. But mice rarely sit down to 'meals' like you and me. They take nibbles here and there and chew thoroughly unbetween 'mini meals' It's just how their digestive system works. One of the reasons why wild mice are so resilient against most poisons. they take such small bites over long periods of time that the poison rarely kills them. and some have even gained an immunity from it.
If you have 5 minutes every half hour to devote to simply handing them pellets and picking up the pieces they don't eat, go for it!

I wouldn't recommend that. You can hand-feed treats, but they should always have food available. You shouldn't "force" them to get close to you, by holding their food source.

If you wanted a rodent that runs up to you and appreciates spending time with you, maybe you should of gotten a rat. They bond better than a mouse does.

I wouldn't feed them just from hand, have some other supply too.

What? Their regular food should be in a dish and their treats can be given by hand or also put in the cage.

i would say go for it, but just remember that if you hand feed them a lot, if you go on a trip, they might not eat from their food dish and might starve, but you can do it every once in a while
