Conceivably. I'm envisioning a situation where you (not me) would be comatose, and for whatever reason the turkey would bite you directly through your carotid arteries, eliminating blood flow to your brain causing death.

WHY the turkey would do so raises a whole universe of other questions, Was it attack trained? Mistreated as a hatchling? A type "A" personality bird? Just p****d off?

The variety and sheer quantity of queries boggles the mind, and I can envision whole schools of philosophy arising to consider the ramifications of this seemingly simple question. Alternatively. I can also envision the world's population just shouting"What!! Don't you have better things to do than bother us with crap like this?"

Do you mean a bite of turkey or a turkey bite? Just kidding, actually given the right circumstances you can die from anything including crossing the street, so the answer is yes.
Yes, you can die from a bite of turkey.

Actually, you need teeth to bite and turkeys don't have teeth. There are not any turkey to people diseases that I know of (I am not sure on the Avian flu, how they decided it is transmitted) plus they usually don't break the skin, just bruise.
Why are you chasing around turkeys anyways?
