What would you do if you were me?

I was supposed to attend my digital video production yesterday. But I didn't go.

I had this digital video production group project with three of my classmates. It's about doing a short film. Before we start the filming, we had already discuss with our dvp teacher about the plot, showing her the script, storyboard etc. She seems interested in our idea, and saying that she likes it.

After a month of doing all the filming, hard work etc, yesterday, she said to my project mate that she's going to fail us. And my mate called me today and told me all about it. I was seriously pissed. She's the one who support our idea and now she's going to fail us. *****.

The DVP subject is one of the main modules for this final term. If we really fail, that's it for our final result. It's will affect our GPA, and it might also cause us not being able to move forward to the school we want to next year.

I'll be meeting her today later; I'm going to fight for it. I even thought of bring a knife.

No, she say when she saw our editing, she doesn't understands the story. Other people understand it, but she say she don't and she's going to fail us.

I have a classmate, named Shawna. She is good term with that dvp teacher. Shawna and her group dvp projects are sucks. The plot is so cliché, her actors are unrealistic fake, and everything is poor. Even one of her group member, Benjamin, told us that he didn't like the idea, camera angle, and script from their Director (Shawna). He thinks it sucks too.

But when that teacher saw her work, she told Shawna this is a good job etc. Benjamin was like, "What the ****, you call this good job?!".

And when yesterday Benjamin was asking something (I can't remember what was it) from that bloody teacher, she doesn't allow him. But when Shawna asks her the same question, she says "Sure".

It's so obvious that she's bias. Everyone hates her except Shawna. God damn it!

My mates and I might also retain for another six months in school just for that god damn module. And I don't want to fail by a lousy teacher whose obviously being bias. I used to have GPA 4.0. Then for the first term this year, due to my character design module, my GPA drop slightly a bit because of a bias teacher (another teacher) as well. And it also got to do with Shawna. She and I handed the character design project late, at the same time, and she scored an A. I felt betrayed and it's so unfair, but I let the matter off.

Now with this dvp teacher, who has zero experience in teaching, bias, going to fail others and I. I'm going after this case is because the digital video production module is on of the main thing for my final term; it's a very important subject.

One day I will come out with a song called "Teachers Are Blind".

DON'T BRING A KNIFE!!! That will only get you in trouble, maybe expelled from the University.... Clear your head as much as you can; go to speak with her. Explain what it was that your group was trying to do with the film. Explain the plot, the twists, why you used the particular shots and transitions that you did. You have some time. Go over the entire film in your head... write down reasons you guys made the decisions to include what you did and why you didn't include other shots. She may not agree with your choices, but she'll be pressed to look at your film from your point of view in the choices that you did. Did certain people in the group work harder than others? Maybe she is aware of this and isn't planning on grading you equally...
Sometimes when professors see students that have lots of potential but don't seem to be reaching that potential, the teacher will grade harsher and push for those students to work harder, smarter, and better. It might not seem fair, but if you go with it and work harder to show the teacher what you are capable of, you might just learn alot in the meantime and end up in a better position in the end.
I'm sure it is hard right now, but try to stay positive and thinking of how you can come out of this situtaion on top. If you need to vent anymore, just send me a message! Good Luck!

No need to get violent with her, but just ask why she supported you at first and not now. Did you add, change angles, remove any ideas of the plot that she did not know about? if so be prepared to stand up for why you did it.
You never know, she may be pushing you all to make it even better! Teachers can do this, to make you worry a little, then you improve your standard (wether it be team work, aims reached and deadlines met etc).
If she does end up passing you, is there anyone that you can go to to fight her decision? explain your reasons and you may get a second chance?

I would ask why she's planning to fail your group. She may have a good explanation for this. So.. Listen to what she says and try to keep an open mind. Also mention that she thought the idea was good earlier and that was the reason that you continued with the idea. I would not bring a knife. That would not be such a good idea.

Stop. Think...and Breathe and take a deep breath!

You are a person...who has a right to think for yourself.

Do you realize that you are giving up your power? Do you know that you are being manipulated because you are reacting to others, and not acting on your own.

The only thing that effects your GPA is you.....all of your classes, all of your tests....and most of all what you are inside.

Take care of yourself....your life depends on it. Your life and your life choices never depend on others. Never lower yourself to what others expect of you. I suggest you make a list.

1. Make a list of everyone who ever called you a name, write those names, and write down WHAT'S BUGGING YOU, yes everything.
2. Make a list of what you like in people you admire, and see how you may have some of those qualities....write down where you want to travel, what colleges...and what you want to do for the rest of your life.

3. Take the what's bugging you list, and tear it up and throw it away. It served a purpose, and made you face what's bugging you.

4. As you accomplish the things on your good list, check them off.

5. Everytime you pass a mirror, smile, yes a big smile because you are taking back control of your life.

You deserve to be in Rocking Relationships....and don't settle for less............smile at everyone....you are your internal growth that lasts a lifetime....not just one class.

Do you realize you could spend the rest of your life in jail for that knife threat..........now is anything worth spending 1 day in jail. NAH, didn't think so.
So get over it....you need to worry about yourself....You have to start forgiving people. Have you never made a mistake? Nah, didn't think so.....so just move on with your life.
You can't threaten people with a knife for the rest of your life. Would you like to be threatened with a knife...........for a class in school?

bringing a knife is a no-no. life is at times not as we want it to be.
with a positive thinking, you and your group can make it work if
you get together. for sure, there are still ways to do it so you can pass the subject

Good for you! You should fight for what you believe in. Even if some dumb teacher is trying to mess with you. Use caution with the knife, though...
