Computers have built in cooling systems, if you have liquid cool you should consider changing it out for the blizzard, freezing air cooling, liquid cooling systems have been known to fail, leak and fry computers. The only true threat to any computer is the internet. The only way to truly keep your computer safe is to completely disconnect from the internet (which most people would not do, we're addicted to mass communication and information) Happy computing

Your computer should be fine. I work from home so I am on my computer for at least 8-10 hours each day. I just make sure to shut it down each night so that it's not on throughout the night, but that's about it.

You can do any sort of hard work with your computer and still it will cope up until you provide it with electricity. Don't worry. My extra PC is switched for around 2 Years and still its working fine.
Too much in on state will make your computer more efficent and too less will only make it more problematic.

It shouldn't damage it at all. Most work PC's are on for much longer than that. PC's are designed to run for days without being switched off.

As long as your computer doesn't start beeping, it will be fine... just don't leave it on for days at a time. Computers aren't meant to be run for that period of time, unless they are servers.

No it's actually better. What harms components is constant heating and cooling. back and forth. If you keep the PC active it should be better off.
