The phrase 'due to' as a preposition can be used in the following ways :
1 If an event is due to something, it happens or exists as a direct result of that thing. Example - My desire to act was due to Marlon Brando's performance in 'The Godfather'. His death was due to natural causes.
2 'Due to' is used to introduce the reason for something. Example - Due to repairs, the shop will be closed next Saturday.(note : Though this usage is very popular, grammar puritans believe that it is not correct to use ' due to' in this way.)

due to ..generally means becaus of , owing to, etc which indicates the very many reason why something has or hasnt happened , but while writing for a leave application or for any other simliar purposes which can even be a statement wherein u r briefing out your cause for an event , it sould not begin with "Due to"which is a wrong english usage, instead we have to use "owing to"if it is the beginning of the sentence .but "Due to"can be used in any part other than the beginning.
example:wrong usage: Due to fever i could not attend classes yestrday
Correct usage:Owing to fever i could not attend classes yesterday
correct usage: i missed my last bus to Denver due to the heavy rains in our part of the city

we in actual actuality make an apology should be present day stressful...or something you should write in an apology letter. we in actual actuality apologized should be previous stressful or in case you've been telling someone...we in actual actuality apologized (the day in the previous at present) for what had occurred. Does that help?
