We don't have thanksgiving cause we did not orginate out of a puritan colony...we are the old world, not the new world...in fact at the time James I was quite happy to let these guys go cause they caused him a headache.

Our lack of that holiday is the only thing that keeps america fatter than us. I'm glad of it too, otherwise the rest of the world would generalise US the fattest laziest pack of lard-ar$es on the planet.

Well thanks to the majority, we have ' fat Tuesday' or as celebrated in The U.S.A. 'Mardi Gras' in Britain it is called Pancake Tuesday
