Last more then one season, for sure. Successful? That's a hard call. I mean they weren't trying to compete with the NFL but knew they couldn't get the top players. Hey the Arena league can have success so why couldn't another tackle league? When you saw what they were doing though it was kinda clear it wouldn't last. It wasn't about the game.

It had some novel concepts (the opening face-off, the overhead camera which the NFL has adopted) but like other rival leagues to the NFL, it didn't have a prayer.

Of course not. It was just a showcase for egotistical wash-ups to have one final shot at glory. And, the fact that they could put ANY name on the back of their jersey was a mockery of the game itself. If you ask me, it didn't fold quick enough.

nope not at all it was kind of corny i knew it would go bankrupt there's nothing like the nfl no knockoff leagues can compete
