Because they are usually a formulated band meaning that some music bigwigs auditioned a bunch of pretty boys and stuck them together and got other people to write songs for them to churn out to be consumed by easily influenced people... usually pre teens and swooning girls. But like all people, these boys grow up and are not such the cute school boys anymore so they get dumped onto the trash heap and a new boy band is created

Only after a couple of albums the record companies that created them overhauls the band and they stink thereafter.

Because they can't work together,everybody start expressing their ideas and opinions. And when that starts they dont agree on the same things, which means sooner or later they will break up.
