I bought my Xbox 360 on September 2nd and I mailed the contract info the following week. It's now the end of November and I still haven't gotten anything from them. Does anyone know how long it takes? It's very frustrating. They cashed my check and everything, too. I keep calling and asking but I always wind up talking to someone in Asia who can't understand me. I was on the phone a half hour with someone, trying to figure out if they got my info. After a half hour, he told me to call back in two days. OMG!

If anyone has sent in for theirs and recieved it, tell me how long it took yours to get to you. Please.

I didn't get my mail yet. They charged my credit but didn't bring it up until I specifically asked.

1month or 2 is typical according to the forums...I ordered mine 10 days ago.

Oh, and they changed their terms on October 2006, if the 360 breaks you have to pay for shipping, unless you have an extended warranty. If they refuse to ship you an empty box ("coffin"), read this line:

"This Service Contract covers the repair or replacement of all functional parts of, and all labor necessary to maintain, your Microsoft Xbox Video Game System console, ... ,including any shipping expenses necessary to complete the repair of your Xbox console...".

And they'll leap to help you.

Supposedly it takes 30 days for the warranty to activate, that is what I was told by a support agent.

It really takes forever. I had just about given up on getting mine and was wondering when it showed up. Ok going by when I got my 360 and the postmark on the agreement thing it took close to 2 months. So I would say you should have gotten the thing by now.

I sent my ps2 to sony, but it's usually the same deal.

12 weeks on average, and usually you can use a service number that microsoft should have given you to check the general status on their website.
