It is all about the pituitary gland and the fact that your arousal effect is connected. Orgasm is the conclusion of the sexual response shared by males and females alike. During orgasm, both males and females experience quick cycles of muscle contraction in the lower pelvic muscles, which surround both the anus and the primary sexual organs. Also, endorphins are released and yes, both men and women experience this. However, in men, the effect is usually to be very tired and to sleep...with women it could be the same, however, some experience a sudden burst of energy, which results in more lovemaking. (Orgasms in both men and women are often associated with other involuntary actions. A generally euphoric sensation is associated with orgasm.)

There have been studies indicating significant differences in brain activity during the female and male orgasm, scans showed that both the female and male orgasm 'shut down' areas in the brain associated with anxiety and fear (the amygdala). It was found that the male orgasm focused the brain on sensory input from the genitals more than a female orgasm. Brain size probably doesn't have as much to do with it as hormones that are produced by the pituitary glands do.

That has nothing to do with it. It all depends on the individual. I can have 3 or 4 orgasms before I pull out of woman. And that can be a lot of juice.

I doubt it. I would say it's to do with reproduction. Can a multiple orgasm make it easier for a woman to become pregnant?

No. Actually, the human female is built to copulate with numerous men. Her physiology attests to that. One ejaculation per male - and let the best swimmer win.

No religious objections, please. This is just biology.

I doubt seriously that the two are related.
