his apology is empty to me. It is all part of a damage control plan. Being labeled a racist will make it much harder for the guy to get paid $.acting in Hollywood .I wonder if he is getting Seinfeld residuals..I would respect him more if he just admit he is racist. That he dislikes afro american /hip hop culture and many of its people.

No offense, but I don't see why the press is making such a huge deal out of this. I mean, yes, what he said was inappropriate, but it seems like there are so many bigger problems in the world to be concerned with. If it was someone ripping on a white guy, no one would have even given it a second thought.

It's not like he's the first person to ever use a racial slur and he certainly won't be the last. I'm not excusing his behavior, but when there are people dying every day in the war, people dying of starvation, homelessness, etc., isn't that what we should be more worried about??

I bypass to this website extraordinarily much on a on a daily basis foundation and on a on a daily basis foundation there are racist overtones in this website. For everyone to assert they have not seen or heard with regards to the racist slurs, racial jokes or see the racist avatars in this website are patently in denial. I undergo in concepts the Obama's foodstuff stamp, Obama's has pink lips, Obama's pancakes and President Obama sounds like Curious George. in basic terms look at a number of racist avatars in this website mocking African American with their gorilla, monkey avatars. Sorry. No. that isn't in any respect ensue. I in basic terms observed an answer the place a neocons pronounced Michelle belongs on the nationwide Geographic and his fellow cons gave this guy or woman a gaggle of thumbs up. i don't understand how human beings could be so recommend lively and packed with hate. confident. there is loopy nut and racist on the two part of the fence yet I wasn't improve that way. there are some things you can't apologize for. he apologized because he was forced to, and his agent told him to.
but what good is an apology? he said it, he meant it, and no amount of saying he's sorry will make it any better. his career was already in the toilet after seinfeld ended, and he just ruined any chance of making a comeback.
and seinfeld tried to help make it better on letterman, but i think maybe he did it because the incident could hurt the sales of the seinfeld videos.
michael richards screwed up...noone forgets stuff like that!

Sure - give the guy a break. Everybody sounds off inappropriately once in a while, he just happens to live in a fish bowl. Frankly, he's just an entertainer, and I don't look to him for moral or ethical guidance - just laughs. So whether or not I agree with his judgments is moot - lord knows I disagree with many entertainers' political convictions.

I don't see why he needs to apologize for anything, why don't the hecklers apologize to him. Seems to me that some people can dish out slurs and other nonsense, but when someone fires back at them, all of a sudden it becomes a race issue. I think it's total BS.....

He has hired a crisis management PR team to help the situation.

Lets face it, Richards is rich, and he could just leave the public eye and spend the rest of his days spending and counting his money.

Remember, the cast of SEINFELD was making 1.5 million dollars per person per episode, so each was racking up at least 22 mil a year, without DVD and other such royalties.

This will pass.

I do not. He was very cold in his delivery.
AND he has done this BEFORE!!!!
I am white but still think he needs some sensivity training.
I do wonder what the hecklers were saying but I do not think His reaction was appropiate in any way, shape or form.
He makes us look bad, those of us who would like to live in harmony.
The black people are asking him to go back to the club on a Sunday to appoligize. He better come up with something really good. I have no advise for him
Crude man!

There is no excuse for racial comments and it doesnt matter who the person say them is. That goes for Richard, Mel or Paris. It shows a complete disregard for the suffering of others.
