"In my own little corner in my own little chair,
I can be whatever I want to be......... "
I always loved that song from "Cinderella." And it's so true. I'm sitting in a big overstuffed green suede chair. I toss my legs over one arm of the chair and lean against the other. I have my laptop on my lap and here I sit typing for hours on end. I get up early in the morning and write. Silly stuff that no one will every read. But I can 'be whatever I want to be."
It's funny....I can walk through the room anytime during the day and I won't sit in that chair. My daughters will sit in it and I almost stutter wanting to say...... "Be gentle." For, it's my "spot." My sacred spot. Perhaps I only sit there in the wee hours of the morning.... but when I do...... I escape to places I never want to return from.
Yep...I have a favorite chair. :)

Yes. I'm rather territorial over my favorite chair. I don't know why but it seems like a lot of people are. Maybe it's a primal animalistic response left over from eons ago. Happy Thanksgiving. :)

does the floor count? then yes. if has to be a chair, something i can curl up into for a good read or chat with my pets. but the floor is easier to hold us all, and all my friends. but my friends prefer real chairs. ah variety.

Actually-yes. It's the chair downstairs; it used to belong to my grandmother. I grew up loving that chair and I still do. Is that weird? =P

For sure. A beat-up faded recliner. Not a Lazy Boy. I think I bought it at a family furniture store in Coldwater, Michigan. Have to make sure I don't get my leg caught in the mechanism on one side.
