I use nero burning rom, and i had similar problems too in the beginning...
1 you open nero
2 you select audio cd when it asks you of many kinds
3 you klick from the root your music files
4you klick the songs to blue
5you move them to the left side of screen where is the new cd;s coming index
here it starts copying
6when its copied, you klick "files" "write cd"
7then comes the screen
8before klicking ok, change 2 things: writing speed to lowest possible, and the option "finalize"
9 klick burn now
10 it makse it and tells you after it, that its done, any more (you klick no)
before i realized that the cd`s have to be "finalized" at the same time. You have to choose this option from the window`s sides. i dont remember wich, but seek for "finalize" option, and mark it. other thing that i have figured out, is that if you burn them at the high speeds wich are assumption, if you dont degrade them; outcome is, that they miss a beat here and there. so; i ude burning speed of 4 x(4 times normal) instead od some 32 of like, wich only outcome miserable quality cd;s that loose reading in a car stereo or alike.
the cd s that you made, are trash, because they are not finalized.
i hope this helped you

Well I have a Dell computer so I have Dell Jukebox. If you have a Dell Follow these steps:
1. Download the music you want (I usually go to webjay.org)
2. Collect the music you want on the CD (The music you have will show up on the playlist)
3. Insert a blank CD into the thing (I don't know what it's called but it's the thing were you put discs)(Make sure there's nothing wrong with the CD; scratches, dirt, ect.)
4.Press the Burn icon
5. Wait until the CD 100% done
6. Take it out and enjoy!

The songs which you downloaded are most likely in MP3 format. When you click on them, if Winamp automatically plays them, it is because winamp is set as the default player for MP3 tracks.
There are lots of good music players, but you will certainly have Windows Media Player. Open that, and on the left you will see a tab marked 'copy to CD or device'. Click on that.
There will appear 2 panes, left and right. Now you need to drag your tracks into the left pane. Find your tracks by clicking the 'my computer' or 'my documents' icon on your desktop, and find your music. Then literally drag the files over to the left pane. They should appear in the pane.
When you have put in an album's worth, put a blank CD in the drive, and click the icon at the top right of Media Player marked 'burn' (or maybe 'copy'). Wait for it to finish burning your CD. That should do it!
CD-Rs cannot be rewritten, so you'll have to chuck away any faulty ones.

You can try the suggestions above (using WMP10/11) but i could suggest a faster way. If your Nero software is around version 6 or 7, there is a section there that lets you burn Audio CD's (which are capable of being played on cd players, etc ,not mp3 discs)
However, if you've been burning your songs to Cds and still have problems, you could check if your CD player/Sound system supports CD-R / CD-RW cds. Our old cd player at home doesnt read burned audio discs, as an example.
Hope this helps!

Open Windows media player if you have it
Then drap and drop the song you want into the program
that will make those 10-20 songs into a playlist then you go to copy to CD/media device or burn or rip depending on which version you have
next enter the blank cd-r or cd-rw into the cd burner, if you don't have one it won't work
then hit copy/burn and it should say copying and should take anywhere between 30 seconds to 8 minutes depending on your cd drive speed, to test if it works put it into a cd player or put it into your d drive and play it through a media program

Many answers, but none have mentioned the fact that the music files on your system are MP3 format, so you need to download a program to change them over to regular music files in order for the CD to play on a regular deck like your cars. Hope this helps

Use your windows media and most computers have "burning" cd. Use a blank cd ( new one ) and follow instructions in windows media. You select music you want and "add to record list".
