i believe most women get pregnant right before their period or a few days after their period when their ovulating.

If the hair on her head is really long it could be drawing nutrients from her body keeping her from getting pregnant. Make sure she has enough rest and vitamins as well.
The usual time when a woman gets pregnant is around 14 days after her period if she has a regular cycle.
I know of a woman who tried for 13 years, once she got her hair cut short she got pregnant.
