omg thats so exciting! ive always wanted to go to a masquerade ball. for the outfit, wear a beautiful dress thats not too long, but short and elegant.....i would wear a cream colored dress or a darker colored dress and then layer tons of pearls, and then for the mask, definetely spend some money on this! pick out one that is both beautiful and fun.....id say a whitish colored one that has a feather to the side or coming out of the top. for the heels, go all out get the most fabulous shoes in the world, something cute something "tall" and something you like. oh ya and the hair, wear your hair down, curl it in big waves or curlier if you want, just something that looks good and compliments your features.
grr i envy you. :)......hope this helped
oh and for the store, i think the best place to go is someplace downtown, like a nice little boutique with vintage clothing or new age clothing or you can go to saks fifth ave., nordstroms, or neiman marcus!
