Yes, that's very likely to happen - you see police cars driving into snowmen all the time. How surprised they will be to find out that one is cunningly secreting a bollard...

COP 1: Say Jim, there's another snowman, let's drive into it, seeing as we're overstaffed and underworked as per usual.

COP 2: Hell, that's a great idea. It will take my mind off that damned unsolvable case we've been working on.

COP 1: Which case is that, Jim?

COP 2: The sudden disappearance of that bollard we drive past several times in a shift on our patch, the area we patrol day and night and know like the back of our hands.

COP 1: Oh, that case...Yeah, it sure is a puzzler. It's just up and gone from right where that snowman is standing in the middle of the road for no apparent reason....

(Presses hard down on the accelerator)

Why police specifically? Anybody who drives around in those little metal coffins deserves to hit a bollard. Especially if they're doing 50+mph.
