I have been playing acoustic guitar for almost a year, but not electric.
Im thinking of a silvertone revolver or a squier strat.
the silvertone is $169 while the strat. is $199.
Do you have any other suggestions between $100 and $250?

Both the Squire and the Silvertone are entry level guitars... not for those that have playing as long as you.

Since you seem to dig the Strat look (the most copied guitar of all time), look around and find a Fender Stratocaster that is made in Japan or US. Avoid the Mexican and Chinese models.

i might get a sort of fee packs. Comes with a guitar, amp, video, chord chart(some), and extraordinarily plenty each and every thing else you prefer. Strat copies are incredibly stable starter electrics. As for amps Line 6 makes the superb. The Spider line is extremely super.

I'd go with the strat. Every serious guitar player owns at least one strat, and it you can get a good sound with many types of amps.

i wouldnt do either if it wasnt for the price. I'd do a Gibson Les Paul! There very quality and very noticable. You can try ebay and get one for about 150 or 200. Originals are about 2,000 to 13,000 buckaroos. But if ya dont go that way id go for the strat.

Get the guitar Zakk Wylde uses...not his personal guitar but one of the same make. I'm not a guitar expert but Zakk Wylde is a guitar god and quite possibly the greatest living rock guitarist on the planet. Ozzy sure knows how to pick guitarists. Way to go Ozzy!
