Does anyone know the difference between - Supporting the war and Supporting the Troops?
Because I do not Support this war But I do support the troops in coming home safe.
I thought we went to war to protect our constitutional freedom and rights. And yet, we still have people in America who keep on telling us our beliefs are wrong if you are pagan or jewish or other you are going to hell- if you are gay then your sexuality is wrong.
What happened to tolerence and curiosity of wanting to learn about the diffences between people and growing from what we learn.

America was born on dismissing people's differences and not wanting to learn from people different from them

Unfortunately, for some people their strong anti war sentiments leaks out in their attitude via the soldiers who are fighting that war and it turns out their don't support those troops either, protests notwithstanding.
But, yes, I understand the difference and it is certainly possible for that to be the case.
But what I don't understand is your initial statement about the Iraq war vs. your later statement regarding some people's beliefs. They have nothing to do with each other, unless you'd like to clarify that point you werre trying to make.
For the record, I'm a Canadian who does support the Iraq war (and the American troops... and the Canadian troops in Afganistan).

Troops are there because they want to be...most silly soldiers dont realise what war means - that is why they enlist...and then they find out the HARD way! So, don't support the war, and realise that the soldiers, unfortunately, aren't protecting American freedom at all - they are fulfilling agressive foreign policies driven by warmongers whose interests are oil and arms sales!

The terrorists have no tolerance for us. They are going to kill us all once they have the nuclear bomb. They are about 4-5 years away from that. Then they will drop it on our country. Watch the news when they show the Palestian tv clips. It talks of hatred for Americans and death to us all. It's really quite scary.
