You mother may like to spend time with you.....can you take her to lunch?.......and get her a small pin or earrings (if she has pierced ears).
Most of all get her a beautiful card....or make one.....just to show your love.
......My mom passed 4 years ago at 88....and she was the best!

I am sure your mum will not want you to spend that much my boy is the same age as you and i am hoping he will get me a small teddy to put on my dresser

My advice would be yo buy her one of those musical carousel items, that she can put on display and remember that it was a gift from you.
