YOU be loyal.
I made this decision for myself years ago. Actually people were even asking this question 26 years ago when I first married my husband. I decided that during my life I would be loyal to my family and that my life would be about honor and integrity both inside and outside my home--For example: at my job etc-I'd never intentionally hurt someone for person gain or ruin someone's reputation with gossiping about them. I wouldn't worry about anyone else being loyal, just me. It's worked out pretty well for me, sure some people are just low-lifes and they'll hurt you even if you show integrity back, but you've got to decide you aren't going to be part of the problem NO MATTER WHAT. And if you mess up and have a bad day, forgive yourself and others and go on with integrity.

There's loyalty in me... I'm always doing things for other people, I donate money to charity, I'm good to my friends, I do more than I should for my boyfriend... So there are loyal people out there. A lot of the time, i do things I don't want to so that other people are happy. Some people wouldn't call that loyalty though, they'd probably call me a pushover instead!

Yes it does though its harder to find these days, I'm a very loyal person, I will always go that extra mile for someone, loyalty hasn't always been paid back to me, but I just put that down to the shallow people I come across and move on from it.

good question, I have so many knives in my back that I ought to be considering being just like them so that im not at the bottom of the pile.
But I wont, my late grandfather is the person who i would try to aspire to.He held all the values that make people great. Those who would sell you down the river for a fiver, let then get on with it.Be all you can be.

Yes it does exist - at least with me I am totally loyal to my family (my husband and son) and they are to me.
But it does seem in the world now everyone is out for what they can get irrelevant to other peoples pain or misery.

Uh, can you say Muslim fanatics. They may be crazy and hellish, but they are loyal.
Yes, it does. Not in the public sector but look at New Orleans and all those people who gave away second homes and went trolling for the living and dead, they were loyal to their convictions of humanity.
