New system refuses install, because McA. leftover remains, which I can't find anywhere for deletion, incl the 'add/remove programs.

I had the same problem with Norton, and had to go to their site and download a program removal program. I have had McA for 10 years and never had an issue with them.

Call their tech support and talk with them. I do know you need to do an uninstall instead of going to control panel and removing program.

In the add/delete program, look to the right of your window and there you will see where to (delete )or add programs, click on the side where it says (delete) once you click there the program will be deleted.
