How do you clean a chandelier without removing it from the ceiling? Someone told me that you can spray something on it, and cover the candelier with a plastic bag. The dusk will cling to the spray, and all have to do it remove the plastic bag after an hour??

I spray mine with 409,lysol, anything I have. Hold a cloth under it until it stops dripping and wipe it. Only takes a few minutes.

I think I read in a "hints from heloise" that you can hang an open umbrella from it, and then spray with blue window cleaner, or whatever you use, and let the umbrella catch the drips. Then just rinse out and wipe the umbrella dry.

I think that was how it went.
