Here is a good site to go and look at to find alot of information about Ireland..
http://www.enchantedlearning.com/europe/ireland/mapanswers.shtml
This site goes into great detail about everything on Ireland(i.e. location, high and low points, seas surrounding it). At the bottom of the page there are related links and they go into Maps of Ireland-Ireland's Geography-
Also, this site is really great too,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ireland, it talks about where Ireland lies(between what seas), and how its the 3rd largest and what not..
These are really helpful..
Good luck

Ireland (53°30′N 7°38′W; Irish: Éire) is the third largest island in Europe. It lies in between the Atlantic Ocean and the Irish Sea.
he geography of Ireland describes an island in northwest Europe in the North Atlantic Ocean. The ocean is responsible for the rugged western coastline, along which are many islands, peninsulas, and headlands. The main geographical features of Ireland are low central plains surrounded by a ring of coastal mountains. The highest peak is Carrauntuohill (Irish: Corrán Tuathail), which is 1041 m (3414 ft). There are a number of sizable lakes along Ireland's rivers, with Lough Neagh the largest in either Britain or Ireland. The island is bisected by the River Shannon, at 259 km (161 miles) with a 113 km (70 miles) estuary the longest river in Ireland which flows south from County Cavan in the north to meet the Atlantic just south of Limerick.
The island of Ireland consists politically of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Located west of the island of Great Britain, it is located at approximately 53° N 8° W. It has a total area of 84,079 km² (32,477 mile²). Ireland is separated from Britain by the Irish Sea and from mainland Europe by the Celtic Sea.

Ireland (53°30′N 7°38′W; Irish: Éire) is the third largest island in Europe. It lies in between the Atlantic Ocean and the Irish Sea. Politically it is divided into a sovereign state, the Republic of Ireland, that covers about five-sixths of the island (south, east, west and north-west), and Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom, covering the northeastern sixth of the island.[1] The name 'Ireland' derives from the name Ériu (in modern Irish, Éire) with the addition of the Germanic word 'land'.
The population of the island is just under 6 million (2006); just over 4.2 million in the Republic of Ireland[2] (1.6 million in Greater Dublin[3]) and just over 1.7 million in Northern Ireland[4] (0.6 million in Greater Belfast).

Ireland is west of Wales and Scotland, they are all North of France. Also, Ireland is east of America. America is south of Canada ( I'm sorry I don't know anything about Canada except that it's a bit like Denmark, which is north-east of Ireland)
