Listening to Roots Manuva's Brand New Second Hand album, I'd forgotten how good UK hip hop is compared to that transatlantic crap that's in the charts all the time.

What do you think?

UK hip-hop is great, I love Roots Manuva. But you can't completely dismiss the stuff from across the water, bands like Jurassic 5 and The Roots are excellent.. I have seen J5 live three times now and they are amazing. What about the Beastie Boys!?

you make a good case i for one would rather listen to Plan B than Eminem but there have been some good american rappers such as Jungle Brothers De La Soul Mos Def so you cant rule them out completely otherwise we'd have to endure big brovaz and so solid crew too!!!!
