Our family goes with the turkey on Thanksgiving since it is traditional. Very few vegetarians are so rigid as to not eat meat, milk products, and eggs occasionally. Most vegetarians just try to not make meat an everyday thing. On the other hand, there are vegetarians out there trying to make a statement....

They are making lots of meat substitutes that look and taste like meat these days. My Grandson really like the veggie burgers. My dad eats fish even on thanksgiving. quite a few years my sister in law and I baked fish for Thanksgiving Dinner .Some Vegetarians don't even eat fish though but most eat substitutes. There is soy milk. There is a cheese tasting product made fron soy, that tastes like cheese and a pretty good pizza can be made from soy. A tasty Veggie piazza. can be made.It doesn't matter what one eats it the getting together for fellowship with family that counts.

they dine out at superlative restaurants like Su Tao in Malvern Pennsylvania where they can enjoy a fabulous buffet that easily could make a vegetarians out of most non-vegetarians -- from butternut squash soup to "turkey" to mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce and unbelieveable vegan desserts too like cheese cake and carrot cake and traditional pumpkin pie --

A few years ago, I invited some vegetarians over for a holiday dinner. They remarked about how tasty my wife's vegetables were. The next week, my friend's wife asked what my wife used to season her veggies. My wife told me she used chicken bullion. I lied and told my friend's wife she used garlic powder.
