Click on Start
Select Control Panel
Click on the Mouse Icon

You have all the options to set for the mouse there. To change the pointers, select the Pointers Tab and from there, you can select a Scheme that you like.

Click on the Windows Start Button, choose Control Panel, click on that. Look half way down, you will see Mouse, click on it. Choose the second tab that says Pointers. Under Schemes there is a drop down list, pick the one you like (it gives you a preview) and click Apply, then Ok.
