Well, the best way to get healthy, glowing skin you have to eat healthy, exercise for 30 minuites 3 times a week or more, and exfoliate and moisturize your skin! Getting massasges and skin peels are a great way to keep your skin healthy and glowing. And as for lotion goes, make sure it is a moisturizer. I reccoment either Aveeno, Eucerin, or Lubirderm.

U are saying your face or body? If is your face, i would say wash your face with soap once a day, and rinse with clean water whenever needed. If u use make up, make sure u clean out all the make up everyday, apply toner, moisturizer and sunblock. For body, if u have dry skin, use a strong moisturizer like Nivea Creme on needed areas. And avoid dry shower foams, The Body Shop's shower foams are good. Vaseline's intensive care moisturizer is recommended too. If u have oily skin, use a water based moisturizer and stay away from fried food (the oil stays on your body!) Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables as vitamins will help u to have better skin.

Keep your skin clean with a mild soap and water, use a moisturizer with a sunscreen of at least 15. Get plenty of rest, east fruit and veggies and drink lots of water. That is the best way to ensure healthy, smooth skin.
Heredity also has lots to do with it. If your family has nice skin, chances are you will too.

If you are in the UK there is a spa in London Covent Garden that has its own products, that you can get in shops too, so you dont have to go to the spa. The product is called THE SANCTUARY and they have a wondeful facial exfoliator that leaves your skin so so nice and smooth. You can use any exfoliator realy, but this one is lovely. Its a good idea to exfoliate your face once a week, to get rid of that dead skin that builds up. Hope that helps

The secret to beautiful skin and hair is first and foremost good nutrition and health. Drink lots of water (at least 2 glasses a day.) Get plenty of rest. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables and lots of protein. (if you are a vegetarian or a vegan beans and nuts are an excellent way to insure you take in sufficent protein.)
Take vitamins . Lastly buy the right products. All or mostly natural brands are the best for skin and hair care and are not as expensive or difficult to find as they may seem.
Neutrogena
Mario Badescu
Burt's Bees
Biore
Alba Botanicals
Almay
Ojon (hair only)
Phyto (hair only)
Philip Kingsley (hair only)
Garnier (hair-has a skin care line in Canada and various European countries)
Kerastase (hair only)
Philosophy
Bare Escentuals
Don't forget to moisturize (even if your
skin is oily and/or acne prone).
Nivea Creme is my favorite night cream.
Neutrogena Oil-Free moisturizer for combination skin is my favorite daytime moisturizer.
Don't forget SPF 15 or higher (goes to 50)
Weekly exfoliation is vital to keep skin smooth.
Products with Apricots, Carrots Papayas, Grapeseeds, nuts, seeds, strawberrys, jojoba beads or oil or glycolic acid are great ingredients for exfoliators. (my favorites Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Apricot Srub and I want to try Mario Badescu Enzyme cleansing gel)
Masks are also great to refine pores and keep skin moisturized and smooth (Biore makes a good one)

start with what you do to your body:
eat healthy
drink lots of water (gets rid of toxins)
exercise (gets rid of toxins and gives you a dewy look)
and use products at the same time
wash your face morning and night
exfoliate
moisturise
try not to touch your face frequently, and if you do wash your hands before so you're not spreading bacteria
