How Do You Get It?
A doctor or a nurse practitioner must prescribe the patch. He or she should ask questions about health and family medical history, and may also do a complete physical exam, including a blood pressure measurement and a pelvic exam. If recommending the patch, the doctor or nurse practitioner will write a prescription and provide instructions on how to use it. Those who start using the patch may be asked to return within several months for a blood pressure measurement and to ensure that there are no problems. After that, a doctor may recommend routine pelvic exams once or twice a year or as needed.

These are all of the places I can think of:
Health Department, Women's Health Centers, Private Health Care Physician, Public Health Care Physician.
You have to make an appointment with one of the above and get a prescription, they will need to preform a physical exam.
Be prepared for the cost, most health care business want payment right after the Dr. appointment.
Hope this helps & Good Luck

you can get it at your doctor, community health centers, planned parenthood, etc. i used it for awhile, but i started reading in the newspaper and magazines that since it delivers a constant flow of hormones to you, it could be giving you a higher level of estrogen than pills and other methods, which can lead to higher blood pressure and other dangerous things! before you go on it, just make sure you've checked out all the latest health info. on it. :-)

The only way you can get it, is a prescription. First you need a pap smear appointment if you havent had one in a year, and you have to get rechecked every year in order to keep getting birth control.
