Kobe has always been better than t-mac, but this year he is proving to all Haters that he is NOT a Ballhog. after this great start by kobe and the lakers nobody has the right to call him a ballhog, if you actually watched the games you will see that he Has been involving his teammates a lot more than last year, and despite averaging only 25 points a game there team is still 8-3. But back to the question, Kobe is a better player because he can do things other players can't. He can explode to the basket at will, throw a jumper in your face, post up the defender, and he makes it all look easy. hope this helps!!

Kobe is better. Kobe can score and play defense. Tmac has been hurt alot. Oh yes don't forget about kobe NBA rings

I believe that healthy Kobe Bryant is a better than a healthy Tracy McGrady as Kobe seems to have a better back to the basket game than McGrady.
Everybody knows that both players can soar through the air for a dunk, but Kobe's ability to post up players and score seems to be just a step more lethal than the back to the basket game of McGrady.
I also consider Kobe to be an excellent defensive player despite not having the height or the reach of Tracy McGrady. This doesn't take anything away from McGrady, it just seems to me like Kobe wants it more.

Tmac is languishing in Houston, not even in the spotlight anymore -- he doesn't carry the team nor is it built around him.
Kobe's got the rings, the skills, the coach and the team that will feature, showcase, his talents. Kobe's in the spotlight so much that he doesn't even need a nickname ...he's just Kobe.

There is no question about Kobe Bryant is a better basketball player than Tracy because of what Kobe has done in the playoffs. If Tracy can start winning in the playoffs it will be somewhat of a different argument, but that will not happen anytime soon.

Kobe is way better than t mac. Kobe can score when ever he want too and he is escond best in nba history 3 ring and a career high of 81 pionts.
