I'm going to my in-laws for Thanksgiving and have waited until the last minute to think about what side dish to bring. I already know they'll have plenty of desserts, so that's out. I really don't want to bring something that's obviously store-bought, but I'm not that great in the kitchen. I need an idea for something that easy to make (or easy to buy at the store and disguise as my own). Help!

By the way, I already asked if I could bring anything. She said, "Sure" but didn't give me any ideas of what they need other than that they have plenty of desserts.

go get some cookie doough at the grocery store and make some cookies! Im sure your inlaws will be grateful you brought anything at all! You could just call her and see if they need you to pick up anything at the store in case they forgot something, that will help too. Good Luck!!!
