My husband is a Family Man...We have 5 children. He worked offshore to suppot us...The 2 weeks he was in he stayed home with our 2 small childre, cooked, ckeaned, shopped, and payed bills...His reason- To have more quality time with us when I got off work....He quit when I got sick. Now he has a job that allows him to get off when I do...He still helps do all the "House" stuff...He also takes some time to spend with the kids alone...One may ride to the store with him, one puts corn out for the deer....He attends all meetings for our Autistic child...His live revolves around his wife and kids!!! However they also know daddy is the one who disiplines too. He has managed to find the baance of love, forgiveness, encouragement, and punishment that most can only dream of.

I would define a family man who goes to work during the day then comes home and spends the rest of his time with his family

His family is his favourite hobby, sport, past time. I'm not saying he doesn't have other things he enjoys doing but his family is first on that list. He puts his family before all else. If his family needed him he'd skip poker night for that week.

Someone who cares for his family and devotes things towards his wife and kids. Man who makes sacrifices and promises he intends to keep.

When he puts family first. Who is not selfish.
He cares/protects/listens to everyone in the family.
My step dad is so selfish. He comes first no matter what, everyone can get stuffed even my mum. I can't stand that.
