Yes, there is something called 'bio-rhythm' for every one! That explains the mood swings, varying performance standards, perception standards, and even metabolism efficiency at different hours of the same day for the same person! It's nearly the same as lunar influence on tidal waters causing diurnal or semi diurnal tides, or, simply, ebb and flood tides! Your Q is good, makes sense: you may like to read up and find out more about 'bio-rhythm', which is quite interesting, and, perhaps, useful!

Yes, there are different phases because the world doesn't stay sunny 24-7, does it? LOL...
Well, in the morning, I'm pretty calm and happy.... during the afternoon, I get a little irritated... but by night time if I had my nap or a nice bar of chocolate, I'm great! Laugh a little, get on the internet, calm and happy...
And it makes sense. :-)

Yep,
Morning: Happy, confused, BORED
Afternoon: really ANNOYED, happy, angry
Night: Healthy, happy, sleepy
Morning it's divided in 3
1.When I wake up I'm happy
2. Get to work and feel excited about actually getting some work done
3. (just before 12m) I feel bored and going nuts and I just want to be at home doing nothing
Afternoons
1. Annoyed to be at work and have absolutely no idea about what I'm doing
2. Happy to get out of work!!! WWeeeeeee
3. Angry when I get home and I start thinking about work, and stuff I could've done to not be working, like studying another career or something.. it's my whiny Bit*y moment of the day
Nighttime:
1. Healthy because I got to the gym and it get my mind to nowhere land
2. Happy to watch TV and do useless stuff without worries
3. Sleepy..I mean it is nighttime...

my phases tend to change all the time. but not as predictable as the tides, in fact, not predictable at all. sometimes a little lapping against the shore, other times a great tsunami, ah life.

Of course, every one will be having up and downs in a day. Depends on our mental vibrations.

for me there's the sleep phase, the getting out of bed phase (the worst one), then the going to work phase, ending with coming home, eating, and going to bed phase.
