you had laparoscopy and nothing abnormal was found So you are unlikely to have endometrioses, however your symptoms and relief by contraceptive per indicates that you are having a condition Called dymenorrhoea i.e. painful periods. contraceptive pills will help you and if you donot want further pregnancy then there is no harm in continuing pills. You can take pills for three years and then give a gap of six months.

Can I ask your age? My mom and grandma both have endometriosis and I also have the symptoms. I think you have to be a certain age before it is 'officially' endo. Plus, it's kind of hard to diagnose, according to my mom. She had it for years before doctors would do anything about it.
